& Rustic/Log Hutch/Cabinet Doors

This shows the rack I fabricated (see close-up) to hold all eight doors using "coat hangar hooks" I fashioned for this purpose. With this set-up, I could spray all eight doors at once and not have to handle them while wet. Additionally, I could spray both sides at one time.
Note the plastic curtain behind the hanging doors. This was my make-shift spray booth. I merely stapled inexpensive painter's drop cloths to the ceiling of my shop and also covered the floor. In this way there was no overspray hitting outside this "spray booth".
Spraying a toxic mix of lacquer and stain, I invested in an expensive breathing mask that filtered out the smallest particle. With or without adequate ventilation, this is a must have accessory.
